The first thing you have to consider when it comes to the European Union is its great practical importance for every institution of the member countries. EU is not only manifested politically, being also able to influence the everyday life of its citizens in various fields. A suitable example is the introduction of its own currency, Euro.
Things have evolved in such a way that nowadays we cannot imagine how the political system of a European country would work without taking into account the EU. The most important decisions are no longer taken in the capitals of the member countries, but in Brussels, the headquarters of the union.
European integration was also a successful experiment in terms of resolving conflicts. Unfortunately, this aspect is often overlooked, especially by the younger generation. It should be recalled that member countries cooperate more closely than ever, particularly through the common institutions.
